iMethod™ Test for Benzodiazepines Version 1.0 for Cliquid® Software;
Quantification of 30 Benzodiazepines in Plasma, Blood or Urine
Benzodiazepines and other nonbenzodiazepine hypnotics, such as Zaleplon, Zolpidem, and Zopiclone are widely prescribed psychoactive drugs for the treatment of anxiety and sleep disorders. Frequently these substances lead to dependence and abuse and some of them can affect judgment and behavior. As a result, these compounds are of great interest to forensic and clinical toxicology laboratories. The iMethod™ Test provides a method for the quantification of Benzodiazepines in Plasma, Blood or Urine.
The iMethod™ Test provides a method for the quantification of Benzodiazepines in Plasma, Blood or Urine. A number of example sample preparation procedures are provided, based upon the matrix type and degree of clean up required. These range from a simple extraction and dilution for urine to liquid-liquid for blood and plasma to solid phase extraction for plasma and urine. Diazepam-D5 and Doxepin-D3 are used as internal standards.
The iMethod™ Test for Benzodiazepines is configured for use on the AB SCIEX Technologies 3200 Series instruments. This method has also been developed and verified for use on the 4000 Series LC/MS/MS Systems. The list of iMethod™ Tests located on the iMethod™ Store is continually updated with the latest user contributed and AB SCIEX lab-proven methods, so you can take immediate advantage of the latest advances. All iMethod™ Tests are available for individual purchase or as part of one our complete starter packs for forensic toxicology.
The AB SCIEX iMethod™ Test for Benzodiazepines allows customers to be up and running quickly with preconfigured settings and report templates specific for the quantification of 30 benzodiazepines and non-benzodiazepine hypnotics (Zaleplone, Zolpidem, Zopidone) in plasma, blood or urine.
The AB SCIEX iMethod™ Test for Drugs of Abuse Screening provides a set of generic drugs of abuse screening methods to analyze hundreds of compounds in both positive and negative mode, together with an MRM catalogue of over 1250 compounds with up to six transitions per compound, that can be used to create custom screening or quantification tests.
Included with this method are: Restek pre-column, 5μm 60A, PFP Propyl, 10 x 2.1 mm and Restek analytical column, 5μm 60A, PFP Propyl Column, 50 x 2.1 mm.
Screen up to 300 drugs simultaneously
LC/MS/MS is quickly becoming the technique of choice for both screening and confirmation due to elimination of derivatization and simplification of sample preparation, while offering better sensitivity and selectivity, shorter run times, and the ability to analyze a wider polarities and molecular weight range of compounds in a single analysis.
iMethod™ Test for Drugs of Abuse Screening Version 1.0 for Cliquid® Software;
The iMethod™ Test provides a method for the screening of drugs of abuse in plasma, blood or urine. A number of example sample preparation procedures are provided, based upon the matrix, the degree of clean up required and / or the preferred mode of ionization. These range from a simple extraction and dilution for urine to liquid-liquid for blood and plasma to solid phase extraction for plasma and urine.
The iMethod™ Test for Drugs of Abuse Screening is configured for use on AB SCIEX 3200 QTRAP® instrument utilizing an MRM triggered full scan that can be applied to a library for confirmation. This method has also been developed and verified for use on the 4000 QTRAP® LC/MS/MS System. The iMethod™ Test for Drug Screening comes with a pre-set method for 300 drugs of abuse, together with an MRM catalogue of over 1250 compounds with up to six transitions per compound, that can be used to create custom screening or quantification tests. The Forensic drug library required for identification and confirmation is sold separately.
Included with this method are: Restek pre-column, 5μm 60 A, PFP Propyl, 10 x 2.1 mm and Restek analytical column, 5μm 60 A, PFP Propyl Column, 50 x 2.1 mm.
