Abstract
To the Editor,
The primary treatment of chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) focuses on symptomatic control. Recently, remission of CSU by several drugs, including cyclosporine A and omalizumab, has been reported. Previous report suggests that Immunoglobulin/histamine complex (IHC) to inhibit antigen-induced histamine release from basophils and mast cells have histaminopexic effects, and may be effective in treating chronic urticaria. Our previous report documented remission in four cases by continuing immunoglobulin/histamine therapy until remission was reached.4
