안녕하세요 국립제주대학교 생명자원과학대학 생명공학부 바이오소재전공 이상아 교수 연구실입니다.
우리 연구실은 단세포성 식물인 미세조류가 지니고 있는 광합성 기작을 활용하여 미생물 기반 CCUS(carbon capture utilization & storage)를 연구하는 환경을 연구하는 생물공정 및 생물정보학연구실입니다.
우리가 살고 있는 지구의 환경이 온난화로 인해 악화되어 가는 것을 뉴스에서가 아닌 몸소 느낄수 있는 시대가 되었습니다. 그리고 이 같은 변화된 환경은 인류의 생존과 직결되어 있습니다.
따라서 M2B 연구실은 지구의 변화된 환경의 회복 탄력성을 연구하고 내용은 아래와 같이 정의합니다.
1. 시멘트이산화탄소 공정에서 배출 되는 이산화탄소제어 생물공정 및 질소/황산화물 제어 목적 NGS 기반 미세조류-박테리아 컨소시엄 연구
2. 인간 및 가축 폐수 처리 고도화 생물공정 연구
3. 담수, 해수, 토양의 meta-genomic 환경 회복탄력성 연구
4. 타겟 유용 생명자원의 genome, transcriptome 변화 분석을 통한 환경영향성 평가
5. 미세조류 기반 항산화물질인 카로테노이드 색소, DHA, EPA 등 생합성 및 활용 연구
