서주현 교수

안녕하십니까. 국민대학교 바이오발효융합학과 단백질진화연구실의 연구책임자 서주현교수입니다. 저희 연구실의 이름을 지을 때, 저는 최대한 간략하게 짓고 싶었습니다. 그러나, 이름 속에 숨겨진 scope은 굉장히 넓습니다. ‘단백질’이라는 흔한 단어 속에는 효소 뿐만 아니라 항체, 조절인자도 연구하고자 한다는 의미를 내포하고 있습니다. 이러한 연구 scope 속에서 저희 연구실에서는 효소 진화, 항체 공학, repressor engineering, 대사공학 등을 현재 연구 중입니다.

본 연구실은 미각신경에 발현되는 Ionotropic Receptors의 역할 규명을 통한 동물의 다양한 미각신호전달체계에 대한 연구와 미세환경 인지 센서 발굴 및 기능 연구, 온도 조절에 의한 일주기성 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

이도엽 교수 

We apply various types of mass-spectrometry platforms and bioinformatics approaches to unveil & link multi-layered molecular constituents, metabolite and protein to the relevant metabolic physiology. We hope the investigation can facilitate comprehensive understanding of disease mechanism, discover novel biomarkers, therapeutic compounds, and provide roadmap to re-construct newly designed microorganism for valuable compounds.

정상택 교수 

Our lab is interested in discovering and engineering extremely valuable protein pharmaceutics. The researches that our lab is going to pursue include 1) Development of platform technologies for efficient isolation of novel biomedical proteins (e.g. antibodies) 2) Directed evolution of therapeutic proteins for improved efficacy, serum stability, and safety, 3) Development of technologies for simple and cost-effective production of protein pharmaceutics.
