In this study, we investigated how a protein called ARHGEF3 regulates fat cell (adipocyte) development and enlargement?two key processes involved in obesity. We discovered that ARHGEF3 plays a dual role: it helps fat cells grow in size through the YAP-RhoA signaling pathway, and it promotes their full differentiation by boosting the activity of PPARγ, a master regulator of fat cell development.
