2023 NIFDS-PMDA-USP Workshop for Advanced Therapies
The National Institute of Food and Drug Safety Evaluation (NIFDS) of South Korea has hosted an annual regulatory science workshop advanced therapies since 2020. This year, the NIFDS, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) of Japan, and the USP collaborated to organize the 2023 workshop.
Under the theme, "Global perspectives on regulatory science and manufacturing of cellular and gene therapy products", this year's workshop will explore current regulatory issues and manufacturing challenges including quality control, efficacy, and safety concerns of advanced biopharmaceuticals.
