AD2 단클론 항체는 70 kDA glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored 당단백질인 인간 CD73 (ecto-5'-nucleotidase)에 특이적으로 반응합니다. CD73은 아데노신 모노인산 (AMP)을 아데노신으로 탈인산화하는 효소로, B cell, T cell, 수지상세포, 혈관내피세포, 및 중간엽 줄기 세포의 아집합에서도 발현됩니다. 또한, 림프구의 혈관내피세포에 대한 부착 및 T 세포 활성화에도 관여합니다.
