We understand AI through a triple structure: AI Technology (AT), AI Application (AA), and AI Transformation (AX). Accordingly, we are advancing toward an AI Convergence University that integrates AI and science — including management — into a single unified system of scholarship, education, and practice, rather than treating them as separate parallel domains.

To this end, we are openly recruiting creative and ambitious full-time faculty who will help build an AI ecosystem together across the AT, AA, and AX domains.
AT 분야에서는 인공지능 알고리즘, 머신러닝·딥러닝 이론, 생성형 AI, 양자 컴퓨팅 기반 AI, AI 윤리·보안, 데이터 애널리틱스, 수학적 모델링 및 이론 기반 연구 등 AI 핵심 기술과 이론(AI Technology and Theory) 전반에서 세계적인 경쟁력을 갖춘 연구자를 초빙합니다.
In the AT field, we invite researchers with world-class competitiveness across the full spectrum of AI core technologies and theory (AI Technology and Theory), including AI algorithms, machine learning and deep learning theory, generative AI, quantum computing-based AI, AI ethics and security, data analytics, and mathematical modeling and theory-based research.
AA 분야에서는 인문학, 사회과학, 경영학, 자연과학, 의학, 예술, 스포츠 등 각자의 학문, 또는 실무 분야에서 박사학위 수준의 전문성을 갖춘 학자 중, AI를 새로운 연구 도구이자 학문 재구성의 언어로 학습·활용하여 자신의 전공 분야를 AI 기반으로 재정의하고 현장에서 AI를 응용(AI Application)하고자 하는 분을 초빙합니다.
In the AA field, we invite scholars with doctoral-level expertise in their own academic or professional domain — including the humanities, social sciences, management, natural sciences, medicine, arts, and sports — who are committed to learning and using AI as a new research tool and language for academic reconstruction, redefining their own discipline on an AI basis, and applying AI (AI Application) in the field.
AX 분야에서는 인문학, 사회과학, 경영학, 자연과학, 의학, 예술, 스포츠 등 각자의 학문 분야에서 박사학위 수준의 전문성을 갖춘 학자 중, AI를 활용하여 조직과 산업의 구조를 재설계하고, AI 기반 전환(AI Transformation)을 주도하고자 하는 분을 초빙합니다.
In the AX field, we invite scholars with doctoral-level expertise in their own academic discipline — including the humanities, social sciences, management, natural sciences, medicine, arts, and sports — who seek to leverage AI to redesign the structure of organizations and industries and to lead AI-driven transformation (AI Transformation).
본교는 이런 능력을 충분히 갖춘 세계적인 전문가가 많지 않다는 것을 잘 알고 있습니다. 따라서 AI 전문가가 아닌 지원자가 선발되는 경우, 그 분에게 본교에서 AI 석사학위, 또는 AI 박사학위과정을 이수하고 학위를 취득하면서 AI와 자신의 전공 분야를 접목하여 이 분야를 선도하는 세계적인 학자로 성장할 수 있는 기회를 드립니다.
We are well aware that world-class experts with all of these qualifications are rare. Therefore, if a candidate without AI expertise is selected, we offer that person the opportunity to complete an AI Master's or AI Doctoral degree program at aSSIST — earning the degree while integrating AI with their own field of specialization — and to grow into a world-leading scholar who pioneers this convergence.
